“In My Bag SHA Republic Inc”, a multimedia 501c3 organization founded in the Treasure Coast of Florida. We began working in the community on August 11th, 2019 as digital media organization with a focus on photography, interior designing, acting, fashion, and video editing. Since then, organization have hosted several events to help educate the community about our principles: being of sober mind, embracing the various artistic cultures of humanity, and expressing our individual artistry.
On November 2019, we hosted our inaugural event, the “Fashion Show Clothing Drive”. This event was a community outreach effort to donate clothes to a charity organization in Fort Pierce, Florida called Angels of Hope Outreach Ministries. Over 500 articles of clothing was donated in total.
For the latter part of 2019 and early 2020, we partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County and hosted open mics people for people of all ages. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we were unable to continue on with our open mic series. Our organization then focused on creating digital media to further brand our organization. Through our social media platforms, we posted short experimental art videos and conceptual photographs. Over time, we crafted enough footage to create an a 27-minute film. On May 2021, we premiered our film during our “Big Bag Reveal Film Show”. During this event, we premiered videos from local film makers, and screened the film to a live audience.
